Get the size right the first time
Placeholders only work if they match real card dimensions. Two settings decide everything.
Card size
Standard trading cards are approximately 63 × 88 mm (2.5 × 3.5 in). Every template is generated at exactly that size, so a printed placeholder slides into a normal binder pocket.
Sheet layout
The A4 print layout fits 3 × 3 placeholders = 9 cards per page, matching a standard nine-pocket binder page.
Print at 100% / Actual Size
Do not use “Fit to Page”. Scaling shrinks the cards by a few millimetres and they will no longer sit correctly in the pockets.
Cutting
Enable cut lines in the Binder Builder and cut along the outer edge. A paper trimmer gives cleaner results than scissors.
